What is ŠVOČ?
The Student Scientific Professional Activity (ŠVOČ) organization provides students with the opportunity to develop their professional knowledge and demonstrate their abilities in areas related to studies at their faculty. The aim of this type of student activity is the development of their creative abilities under the guidance of experienced scientific and pedagogical staff.
Benefits to using ŠVOČ
- experience and skills usable in writing and defending a diploma, resp. bachelor thesis
- a more detailed look at research
- additional points to the application for accommodation
- additional points for competitions to study abroad under the Erasmus + program
ŠVOČ faculty rounds are held every year. The students' work, which is placed in the 1st place in them, proceeds to the university-wide round of ŠVOČ, which usually takes place during the month of June. The best works are also awarded a financial reward every year.
