The University of Economics (EU) Student Parliament in Bratislava is the highest representative body of university students, with the goals of representing the interests of all university students, providing non-formal education and participating in creating suitable conditions for the development of student life at university.
The EU Student parliament in Bratislava consists of members of student parliaments of the faculties of the University and of elected representatives of students at all faculties. Student parliaments of each faculty act as a contact point for students with questions about studies and student life. As well, they defend the rights of students and represent them in the organs of the university.
The Board of the EU Student Parliament in Bratislava has the main executive function, consisting of 2 representatives for each faculty who also perform the function of a member of the EU Academic Senate in Bratislava. The leading role of the Board is held by the President, or the Vice-President of the EU Student Parliament in Bratislava. Each faculty has also a faculty student parliament, whose role is to represent students in the faculty academic senate and to carry out student activities on the faculty level.
Organizational structure
Student parliaments of the faculties act as a contact point for every student with questions about studies and student life. Members of students' parliaments advocate the rights of students and represent them in the organs of the University. They also provide interesting information, participate in the allocation of accommodation and ensure the organization of social activities for students.
